Next steps and how to find out more
The Local Enterprise Partnership is working with a range of partners across the private and public sector in order to ensure that we maximise the Enterprise Zone opportunity and have an operational Zone in place by April 2012. Key areas of work include:
- Governance, management and delivery structures
- Ongoing consultation, communications and engagement with key stakeholders
- Promotion, marketing and ongoing support
- The approach to simplified planning
- Managing displacement and ensuring the Zone is sustainable in the long term
- Management and investment of business rate uplift
- Monitoring and evaluation of the Enterprise Zone
A number of the above work areas have been prioritised and we hope to provide further information on the outcomes of these early in 2012.
In the meantime, if you are interested in finding out more about our plans for the Enterprise Zone or if you would like to talk to us about potential opportunities for your business please feel free to get in touch via the contact us page section of our website or by contacting Michael Hellewell at Sheffield City Region directly.
