Martin Havenhand, Chair of Sheffield City Region Forum
Martin is the Independent Chair of the Sheffield City Region Forum. He is well known in the Sheffield City Region having conducted the initial review of the early stage development of the city region and was requested by the Local Authority Leaders to champion their Forum from July 2007.
Since then, Martin has been involved in many early initiatives, such as chairing the Innovation and Knowledge Economy Joint Issue Board and leading the Executive Group every month.

Sylvia Yates, Executive Director
Sylvia joined the Sheffield City Region (SCR) at the beginning of 2008 and, with the Chair, works closely with the Leaders, Chief Executives and officers in the SCR local authorities, as well as with a number of key regional organisations (for example, Regional Development Agencies and Government Offices) to drive forward the Sheffield City Region Forum's ambitions for economic growth.

Pat is PA to Sylvia Yates and also provides admin support to Martin Havenhand. Her other duties include the smooth running of the office including content management of the Sheffield City Region website.

Joanne Wehrle, Dearne Valley Eco Vision Project Manager
Joanne’s role is to facilitate the delivery of the Dearne Valley eco-vision, which aims to transform the Dearne into the lowest carbon community of its type in the UK. She is responsible for the day to day activity, including liaison with partners to encourage closer joint working in the Dearne, sharing of environmental best practice and exploring funding opportunities for projects to address climate change.

Tanya Palmowski, Dearne Valley Eco Vision Project Officer
Tanya provides support to the Dearne Valley Eco Vision Project Manager in guiding the development of initiatives to realise the vision. She is responsible for monitoring progress with the delivery of series of projects contributing towards the eco-vision and provides secretariat assistance to the range of groups set up to oversee the development and implementation of the vision.
